Review: The Notebook (2004)

The Notebook is a touching and a romantic movie. I think many people will like it. It’s a great movie for a romantic night-in with your significant other. You can also watch it if you feel like something sweet to watch while you are at home.

The Notebook is a movie about a girl named Allison Hamilton, otherwise known as Allie. Allie is the main character of the movie. The second main character in the movie is the character named Noah Calhoun. Noah and Allie fall in love in a Southern town one summer. However, Allie is from a well-to-do family. Allie’s parents do not want Allie to be with Noah. Allie moves away from the small town and goes to college. She later meets another man that she falls in love with. The man is a solider. His name is Lon Hammond Jr.

Noah never forgot Allie. Noah rebuilt a house that was a special house for Noah and Allie. After the house is built Noah ends up in the newspaper in a news article. Allie sees the news story. She decides to visit Noah even though Allie is engaged to Lon.

Allie has to decide between the two loves of her life: Lon and Noah. It is a difficult choice. However, she comes to a decision by the end of the movie.

The Notebook is a movie that is a timeless classic. I liked it a lot. I give the movie an 8/10 rating.
