Review: Mulan (2020)

Many of you may have heard about the Disney cartoon named Mulan that was released in the year 1998. The movie was about a young girl who takes her father’s place as a solider so that her father does not need to fight in her country’s war. Now, the Disney network released a live-action Mulan movie. It’s a fantastic movie that adapts much of the original cartoon’s story-line into a great cinematic film.

There are many great things about the live-action Mulan movie. First, the movie has great cinematic scope. The actors and actresses in the movie are dressed in colorful clothing. The battle scenes in the movie are well-executed. The landscape in the movie is breathtaking.

Another wonderful thing about this movie is the actress who plays the main character in the movie. The actress who plays Mulan is named Yifei Liu. Liu is a beautiful, a strong, and a tough woman. She does well in the battles scenes in the movie. She is also great in all of the romantic scenes, too.

I give this movie a 5/5-star rating.

I think you should watch the new live-action Mulan movie as soon as you can. It’s a wonderful movie that is intriguing and beautifully-made. If you can’t watch it in a movie theater, then, you should definitely put it down on your list of DVD movies to rent once it hits the DVD circuit.

  1. I haven’t heard of this movie. I think I will watch it in the movie theater. I’m so thankful that the COVID-19 restrictions are not so air-tight in my home town anymore. Nice post.
