Christmas is right around the corner. Now is the right time to sit back, to relax, and to enjoy a wonderful Christmas movie. There are many Christmas movies to choose from. Here is my list of six movies that I think you will enjoy.

- The Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
The movie named “The Miracle on 34th Street” is an amazing movie to watch around Christmas time. I love “The Miracle on 34th Street” in its original black-and-white version as opposed to the 1994 version of the movie. “The Miracle on 34th Street” is about a man who acts as Santa Claus at a department store. There is controversy when the man says he is the real Santa Claus. The issue explodes. A court case emerges about whether or not the man is who he claims to be. The movie named “The Miracle on 34th Street” is a wonderful movie for you to watch. It’s an enjoyable family movie for you to watch with your loved ones.

2. A Christmas Story (1983)
“A Christmas Story” is another great classic movie. “A Christmas Story” is about a kid that is named Ralphie. Ralphie’s Christmas wish is to get a Red Ryder BB gun. He gets his wish. “A Christmas Story” is a great comedy. There are many hilarious moments throughout the movie. There is also a heartwarming scene at the end of the movie. This movie will make you laugh-out-loud.

3. Elf (2003)
The movie named “Elf” is a great Christmas movie comedy. “Elf” stars the comedian named Will Ferrell. “Elf” is about a man who grows-up in the North Pole. The man is named Buddy. Buddy believes he is a Christmas elf. He works with the other elves to make gifts for children. However, he discovers that he is not really an elf. He is really a man that the head elf took into his home and adopted. Buddy goes on a journey to meet his real family in New York City. “Elf” is a great and funny movie to watch.

4. The Holidate (2002)
“The Holidate” is a movie that stars Emma Roberts. “The Holidate” is about a young woman that is named Sloane. Sloane is tired of her mom’s attempt to set-her-up on blind dates. Sloane meets a man while she is Christmas shopping. She decides to recruit the man to be her “Holidate.” That means that he is the man that she takes with her to holiday events to mitigate the fall-out to being single on the holidays. The movie is funny and irreverent. I think it is laugh-out-loud funny.

5. The Santa Clause (1994)
“The Santa Clause” is about a man named Scott Calvin. Calvin is a divorced man. He has his child that is named Charlie over for Christmas. Charlie hears a noise in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve. He thinks its Santa Claus. Calvin goes outside to investigate. Santa Claus is no where to be seen. Calvin dons Santa’s outfit. He gets wrangled into being Santa Claus for the evening. After that evening Calvin is unwittingly the new Santa Claus because of a “clause” in a contract. The “clause” is that whoever wears Santa’s clothing is immediately the new Santa Claus. However, being the new Santa Claus has its complications.

6. A Christmas Prince (2017)
“A Christmas Prince” is a great romantic movie to watch around this time of the year. “A Christmas Prince” is about a woman that is named Amber Moore. Amber is a journalist. She is given her first real story. Amber must cover the story of Prince Richard as he ascends to the throne in his home country of Aldovia.
Amber ends-up in Prince Richard’s palace. She is mistakenly identified as the princess’ new tutor. Amber spends time at the palace with Prince Richard while she pretends to be the princess’ tutor. Prince Richard and Amber fall-in-love. However, while Amber is at the palace she discovers a document that proves that Prince Richard was adopted. He should not be the true king of Aldovia. Amber must help to prove that the late-king truly wanted Prince Richard to be the true King of Aldovia while other people conspire to sit on the throne.
I love all six of these Christmas movies. They are funny, sweet, and endearing. I hope you give these Christmas movies a chance.
Merry Christmas to you and to your loved ones!
