Review: Black Widow (2021)

I watched the movie that is named “Black Widow” in the movie theaters this weekend. The movie was a good one. It is a great action packed movie. The movie “Black Widow” is about the character who plays the Black Widow in the Marvel movie franchise. The Back Widow in the Marvel movie franchise is Natasha Romanoff. The actress who is named Scarlet Johansson plays Natasha Romanoff.

The other star of this movie is Natasha Romanoff’s sister. Natasha Romanoff’s sister is named Yelena. Florence Pugh stars as Yelena. Florence Pugh is well-known as one of the stars in the film Little Women. She was Amy March in that film.

“Black Widow” shows Natasha Romanoff and Yelena’s history. Both Natasha Romanoff and Yelena were taken when they were young to train to be Black Widow assassins. Natasha Romanoff and Yelena lived with their parents before they were taken. The two’s parents were not Natasha and Yelena’s real parents. However, the two made lasting memories during their time together as a faux-family.

Once Natasha Romanoff and Yelena meet once again as adults the two decide to work together to bring down the man who trains the new Black Widow assassins. The two recruit their faux-parents from the past to help them on their mission.

I enjoyed this movie. It was nice to learn more about Black Widow and her up-bringing. I love Florence Pugh who stars as Yelena. She is as fiesty and she is as fierce as the Black Widow. She is strong and she is determined. She is a great partner for Natasha Romanoff.

I would love to see Yelena in more of the Marvel movies that will come out in the future. I think there is a lot of room to develop and to grow her character.

Overall, I give this movie a 4-star rating.
